Biocidium™’s antimicrobial additive K-yur 001™ can be added to carpet backing, carpet fiber or added into a carpet shampoo/wash. Carpets are reservoirs of bacteria, allergens and mold, all of which can be health hazards. The problem is exacerbated by the fact that most people do not follow a regular routine of vacuuming and semi-annual carpet cleaning. This allows these bacteria to fester and grow.
